FIFTH AVENUE - Please use caution when traveling along Fifth Avenue.  Work began today to repair a sink hole has developed as a result of the significant rainfall we've been experiencing.  The road may be closed periodically as the road is repaired.

All bids were complete, and the final legal review is being conducted.  The apparent low bidder is Trico Equipment .

Mullica Township has been accepted for Sustainable Jersey, a certification program for municipalities who wish to go green, save money and take steps to sustain our quality of life. The Elwood Volunteer Fire Company has been awarded a $52,440 grant from the Federal Assistance to Firefighters program.  Elwood plans on using the money to purchase much needed equipment, including airpacks, radios, and an AED.  A portion of funding will also be used to provide training for the volunteers.  Congratulations to the members of Elwood Volunteer Fire Company who have all worked so diligently to obtain this grant.

for being awarded a Forest Fire Grant in the amount of $2,500.  This grant is for the reimbursement of equipment that supports forest fire needs.
MULLICA TOWNSHIP RECREATION FUNDRAISER -Sweetwater Rec. & Petrosh's Big Top will host Bounce rides, slides, obstacle course. Plenty of games, food and fun

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is preparing new flood studies and will be performing land surveying. Survey crews will be in and around the area from November 19, through April 30, 2010.


April 25, 2010 @ 7:30 pm - The Environmental Commission will be hosting a "Designing a Sustainable Community" Presentation given by Pineland Preservation Alliance.


MULLICA ROAD CLOSURE:  beginning October 26th, Moss Mill Road in Egg Harbor City will be closed between Hamburg and Philadelphia Avenues.


A case of rabies has been confirmed in the Nesco secction of the township.  Please be cautious if you see a racoon in the area during daytime hours.
