Update on Township Projects

Richards Avenue  The Township has received funding from the NJDOT for the reconstruction of Richards Avenue.  All approvals have been received, and sealed bids will be accepted on January 9, 2009.  We expect the project to being early Spring 2009.

Darmstadt Avenue:  The Township has received funding from the NJDOT for the reconstruction of Darmstadt Avenue.  All approvals have been received, and sealed bids will be accpeted on January 9, 2009.  We expect the project to begin early Spring 2009.   

Jackson Road:  The Township has received $118,000 in funding from the NJDOT for the reconstruction of Jackson Road for the 2009 Budget year.  Preliminary planning for the project will begin after the adoption of the 2009 Municipal Budget.

Concession Stand and Restroom Facilities at Recreation Site: The Township has received $75,000 in funding from the Atlantic County Open Space Trust to begin phase I in the construction of a new concession stand and public restroom facilities at the Recreation Complex.  The first phase of the plan will include all the necessary permitting, site plan preparation and installation of the well and septic system.  It is expected the preliminary work will begin after the adoption of the 2009 Municipal Budget.
