The Municipal Clerk serves as secretary to the governing body, and is the custodian of all minutes, ordinances, resolutions, contracts and archival records of the municipality. The Township Clerk's office also issues dog, liquor and raffle licenses and administrative permits, registers voters and provides general information to the public.

In Mullica, Ms. Johnson also serves as the registrar of vital statistics, public compliance officer, claims coordinator, stormwater coordinator and the Mullica Township Rehabilitation Commission coordinator.

The Clerk's Office also oversees that requests for all public records and vital statistics. All public records are available by submitting a completed request for public records form.

Registrar of Vital Records

The Clerk's Office processes requests for certified copies of vital records of event that occurred in Mullica Township. Certified copies of all vital records are $4.00 per copy. To obtain a certified copy you must submit a Request for Vital Record Application, along with the appropriate fee.

If you are uncertain where the event occurred, you may request a copy through the State Department of Health at  http://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/index.shtml

 Marriage License Applications and Domestic Partnership Applications are issued by the Clerk's Office. The fee is $28.00. Please call for further information.

Dog Licenses

Dog licenses are due in January of each year. The cost is $5.00 for a dog that has been neutered and $8.00 for a non-neutered dog. If a license is purchased after March 31st, there will be a late fee of $5.00 per license assessed. Proof of a 10 month rabies vaccination and neutering information must be presented at the time the license is purchased. You may apply in person or by mail. If by mail, please send the appropriate fee along with the rabies and neutering certifications.

Mullica Township holds a free Rabies Clinic each March for dogs and cats. Please refer to the municipal calendar for the date.

Election Information

Voter Registration forms, absentee ballot applications, and other election materials are available in the Municipal Clerk's Office. Forms may be downloaded by the Atlantic County Website at http://www.aclink.org/ Voting is in person at the polling place in your electoral districted listed on your sample ballot. School Board Elections are held at the Mullica Township School, 500 Elwood Road, for all districts. Below is a listing for Special, Primary and General Elections:

Township Policies

It is the policy of Township of Mullica to treat the public, employees, prospective employees, appointees, volunteers and contractors in a manner consistent with all applicable civil rights laws and regulations including, but not limited to the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964 as subsequently amended, the New Jersey Law against Discrimination, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Conscientious Employee Protection Act.  The Township has established written procedures for any person to report alleged discrimination, harassment and violations of civil rights prohibited by this resolution.  For a copy of the policy and reporting procedure, please click here
